Tex Mex Chili Devan Oddman

Tex Mex Chili 
Devan Oddman

​In a large pot combine:
cooked meat (or if you're slow cooking and using chicken you can add it raw)
1 can pinto beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 can corn
1 can diced tomatoes (garlic and onion)
1 Packet chili seasoning

Season soup with garlic powder, salt and pepper.  For more spice add cayenne pepper.  

Cook at medium.high heat until it gets bubbly, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for about 2 hours.   ​
If using slow cooker, cook on high for 4 hours or medium for 6.  ​

Notes:
(You can use ground turkey or beef or chopped or shredded chicken) 
Season meat as you would for tacos (I slow cook this chili so when I use chicken I add the chicken raw and season the soup as I would the meat if I were cooking it separately for tacos)
